Emi Nakano is a founder of Emi Hair Design and helping our clients look and feel their best over 30 years.  

She was originally born and raised in Japan and moved to the United States in 1992. Holds cosmetology licenses both in Japan and the US with a strong focus on hair care. She also has received an AS in Business and an AA in Beauty Management and recently became a Head Spa Treatment Certificated Technician by YUME Head Spa to provide Seattle’s first Japanese-style head spa.

She has worked with Walt Disney World, Studio 904, Salon International, Via Solferino, and William Collier Design (wigs and hair replacement for hair loss due to medical conditions). She established EHD (Emi Hair Design) Services, LLC in 2011 and currently works as an owner/stylist at 3@ Vine Salon in Seattle. 

She started the salon with a vision of creating a space where clients could come to relax and receive top-quality hair care. 

She opened the Seattle’s first Japanese Style Head Spa Salon in March 2024.

Today, that vision lives on through her professional experience with building meaningful connections with her clients.
